Our Eco Coffee Pods are 100% home compostable.

All you have to do is place them in your food-waste bin after use. If you don’t have access to a home compost bin, just pop it in your general waste bin – this is still far more environmentally friendly than other coffee pods.

Our pods are made from plant-based materials that can break down naturally in a home composting environment, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. While none-compostable coffee pods can many  years to break down if you just throw them in the bin, our pods  not only have a long shelf life, but will also break down into nutrient-rich fertiliser in just 180 days. 

Why is composting important?

Composting food waste and biodegradable materials, as opposed to leaving them in landfill, is the most environmentally sustainable solution to waste disposal. Composting crucially reduces the amount of potent methane gas that is released into the atmosphere and toxic residue in the ground, as well as producing nitrogen-rich natural fertilisers as a by-product.
