Yumi, a local for over 25 years and originally from Tokyo, started her personal project at home with a firm belief that eating healthy, wholesome food should be joy, not a chore. Drawing inspiration from the simple and delicious food culture of her home country, she adds Japanese twist to her lunches. Yumi’s cooks nourishing, delicious vegetarian lunches that also come with little home baked goodies, perfectly paired with coffee from Mont58!
This Friday’s lunch is a rich, spicy and and moorish black pepper Tofu. It is served with a light and refreshing Japanese daikon and carrot pickle and perfectly cooked Japanese white rice.
