Yumi, a local for over 25 years and originally from Tokyo, started her personal project at home with a firm belief that eating healthy, wholesome food should be joy, not a chore. Drawing inspiration from the simple and delicious food culture of her home country, she adds Japanese twist to her lunches. Yumi’s cooks nourishing, delicious vegetarian lunches that also come with little home baked goodies, perfectly paired with coffee from Mont58!
This Friday’s lunch is a buckwheat flatbread and 3 flavours of dips.
Main: 3 stunning dips – distinctive textures and flavours, and equally good.
* Beetroot & Walnut – sweet beetroot with earthy walnuts, with touch of lemon
* Haricott Bean & Garlic, with Cucumber – garlicky beans with tahini
* Grilled Aubergine with Chilli & Labneh – spicy aubergine with rich and tangy labneh
