Yumi, a local for over 25 years and originally from Tokyo, started her personal project at home with a firm belief that eating healthy, wholesome food should be joy, not a chore. Drawing inspiration from the simple and delicious food culture of her home country, she adds Japanese twist to her lunches. Yumi’s cooks nourishing, delicious vegetarian lunches that also come with little home baked goodies, perfectly paired with coffee from Mont58!
This Friday’s lunch is Squash and Ancho Chilli Empanadas and Tomato salad with Jumbo Couscous.
Main: Butternut Squash and smokey chilli empanadas, with a little cheddar. They are bursting with flavours, sweet, sour, smokey, and spicy.
