Local Economy commitment

Mont58 Coffee is first and foremost a local company. We were founded with a strong focus and belief in the power of a local economy to positively affect both our community and the environment. It is our mission to support the local economy both in the choice of our colleagues, suppliers and in the customers we serve.

Purchasing and supply chain:

We are committed to purchasing at least 50% of our core products, materials and services from local independent suppliers, whose headquarters or operations are located within 50 miles of our headquarters in London and our roastery in Ashford, Kent. We aim to expand this as much as practical by giving preference to local suppliers when making buying decisions..

Customers:

We know that being a local company is one of the most important things for our clients and customers, and it is one of our strongest selling points. We have a commitment to serve at least 75% local and independent clients or customers who are located within 50 miles of our headquarters in London and our roastery in Ashford, Kent. This applies both to our B2C and B2B sectors.

Colleagues:

We know that local businesses support their local economy and community by creating jobs. All our employees and freelance contractors are local to our headquarters in London and our roastery in Ashford, Kent. We are committed to hiring at least 75% of our colleagues from our local area now and in the future.

Community:

We are strong and vocal advocates of the power of businesses to positively impact their local community.  We are committed to supporting at least one local charitable organisation each year. We are also committed to being a voice for good in our community by taking active part in local networks and stirring groups.
